Bonjurno Papa!

After 2 weeks of living the Vida dolce I learned:

1) Gran fondos begin with incredibly fast speeds. with 199km to go, 30+ MPH just didn't seem to be in my game plan.

2) It's best not to covert Celsius to Fahrenheit. You really don't want to know how hot 41 degrees really is.

3) If you here the word salita it means you are going to be climbing.

4) Pasta is a lifestyle and espresso is a food group.

5) Everyone's Grandma rides a bike.

6) Dolce and Gabbana is national attire.

7) It's wonderful to have such a great friend look after you :) Thank you, Davide!

Yes it was so much fun and very de-stressing.

Marscat: the man is a good friend of mine (and a fantastic cyclist) who lives near Montova and was kind enough to spend time showing me around.

I highly recommend taking 2 weeks off, traveling abroad with your bike, without cellphone and computer :)
